Ruth Gatling – Yogini, Mentor, VisionaryRuth discovered yoga through her love of meditation and mindfulness practice over 25 years ago. She started teaching in 2008 and quickly realized her love of helping others explore the benefits of yoga.
Locally, you can find her at a number of gyms, universities and studios. Internationally, she’s taught in England and Switzerland and lead retreats in Costa Rica, Croatia, Italy, Belize, Nova Scotia and the Galapagos.
Ruth’s formal training includes more than 500 hours of study in Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa styles as well as extensive education in meditation, pranayama, philosophy, and physiology.
She is also an avid participant in BNI – Business Network International.
Ruth believes wholeheartedly that a fulfilled, healthy life is defined by balancing strength, flexibility and awareness both physically and mentally and is accessible to everyone regardless of age, or issues.
And a good sense of humor is essential!
